While Nexus Infotech implements industry-standard cyber security measures, monitoring tools, and best practices to help protect systems and data, no technology or security framework can guarantee complete protection against all threats.
Cyber risks may include (but are not limited to):
- Malware, ransomware, and zero-day exploits
- Phishing, social engineering, and credential compromise
- Insider threats or user error
- Third-party platform vulnerabilities or outages
Monitoring Activities
As part of our services, we may deploy monitoring, logging, and alerting tools to:
- Detect system faults and security events
- Monitor performance, availability, and security posture
- Assist with troubleshooting, auditing, and incident response
Monitoring may involve the collection of system-level data such as device status, log files, network activity, and security events. This monitoring is conducted solely for operational, security, and service delivery purposes.
No Absolute Guarantee
You acknowledge and agree that:
- Cyber security monitoring reduces risk but does not eliminate it
- Not all threats can be detected or prevented in advance
- Successful cyber incidents may still occur despite reasonable safeguards
Nexus Infotech does not warrant or guarantee that systems will be immune from security breaches, data loss, or service interruptions.
Client Responsibilities
You remain responsible for:
- Ensuring staff follow security policies and best practices
- Promptly reporting suspected security incidents
- Maintaining appropriate internal controls and governance
- Complying with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards
Security is a shared responsibility between Nexus Infotech and the client.
Incident Response & Liability
In the event of a suspected or confirmed security incident:
- We will take reasonable steps to assist in investigation and response, where included in your service agreement
- Response actions will be limited to the scope of services agreed upon
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Nexus Infotech is not liable for losses arising from cyber incidents caused by factors outside our reasonable control, including sophisticated attacks, third-party failures, or client-side actions.
